I write because it makes me question everything.

I write because if I don't, I wouldn't know another way to represent myself. I write because someday, a young mind might read my work and be inspired like I was. I write for them and I write for me. But more importantly, I write because no matter what others may say, no one has ever heard Your Story.

So, I write.

The kinds of stories I tell are mostly fiction based, with a sense of autobiographical experience in there, as well. I also write non-fiction, many forms of essays, and journals pertaining to queer lifestyle, pop culture, entertainment, theory, and current events. I’ve written screenplays too, filmmaking and cinema are important pieces of who I am.

I write what I know, and sometimes I know a lot of darker and more intense themes. I have to fight off bullies and trolls with every pen stroke because the world will always have heavy, unpleasant stories that need to be told. Writing them down, and turning them into art is my catharsis. Currently, I am working on a novel that intertwines almost all of those aspects and more. In the end, I look forward to readers expressing their thoughts, admiration, and even displeasure with my work.

Because no artist is without their detractors.
